Accolay pottery, a celebrated mid-century French studio ceramics collective, was founded in 1945 by four young artists (André Boutaud, Louis Dangon, Slavic Paley, and Raude) who learned the craft from renowned ceramist Alexandre Kostanda. Operating until 1989, the workshop became famous for its vibrant glazes, whimsical zoomorphic shapes, and innovative experimental techniques.
